We Received the “TOKYO Papa育業 Promotion Company Gold Mark” Certificate – Toward Male Parental Leave and a Child-Friendly Workplace
We are pleased to announce that our company has achieved a 100% paternity leave acquisition rate and obtained the Gold Mark under the “TOKYO Papa Ikugyo Promotion Company” registration program promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. This registration program is an initiative designed to encourage men’s active participation in childcare and to improve work-life balance.
Our company has implemented the following initiatives to help employees achieve a balance between family and work.
・Training sessions on the parental leave system for male employees
・Sharing of internal policies encouraging male employees to take parental leave
・Intention confirmation interviews for taking parental leave
・Establishment of work rules to facilitate the performance of substitute duties during parental leave
・Support and workload adjustment prior to taking parental leave
・Support for returning to work and career development after parental leave
・A system allowing parental leave to be taken in two separate periods upon request
・Remote work for infection prevention
Through these initiatives, our company will continue to deepen our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to create an environment where male employees can easily take parental leave and where all employees can achieve a balance between work and family life.
Companies that have achieved a certain percentage of paternity leave acquisition among male employees and will continue to promote its uptake are registered as “TOKYO Papa Ikugyo Promotion Companies” (hereinafter referred to as “registered companies”), and are awarded a “TOKYO Papa Ikugyo Promotion Company Registration Mark” corresponding to their acquisition rate.
